The leader is human, he can avoid his emotions when making a decision.

The indisputable fact that managers or team leaders, are only human beings like all of us.

What makes them unique leaders is the ability to make the right decision that is not subject to feelings of love, hate, jealousy and envy.

If you can make a decision without being mixed with those feelings, this makes you highly capable of making the right decision.

Now imagine with me that you, along with a group, have been nominated for a senior leadership position, which depends largely on making the right decision, and the company decided to test the abilities of all of you to do so.

The testers placed the candidates one at a time in a closed room, and placed in front of them a giant screen

Then they explained to him that he would see a short film of a lone train carriage that had no passengers, and that its driver had left his cabin a minute ago and jumped out of the carriage for unknown reasons.
Five workers are working on the rails, the noise of their work on the rails is deafening, so they did not and will not pay attention to the cart, and this is a fact that will not change, they will never pay attention.

On the rails on the other side another worker is working, and he, too, will never pay attention to the cart.

Now you have an electronic stick, all you can do is move it backwards and the train will turn towards the one worker instead of towards the five workers.

We will leave the choice to you.
What will you do?

All candidates waited until the train approached the five people, and when they realized that they were not aware of the carriage, they pulled the electronic stick backwards, which meant diverting the carriage to the other direction and sacrificing the only worker.

And they went out of the room, each of them satisfied with himself, he sacrificed one for the sake of five, so the numbers say.

The testers asked the candidates to re-enter their rooms, and to repeat the same test with a small change.

Remove the electronic stick, there are no rod adapters in this experiment.

But there is still a chance, which is for the candidate to throw a heavy load in front of the cart to stop it, and in the film the candidate sees himself standing on the watchtower that is above the bars and standing in front of it

“Uncle Bilal” is that good man who receives them daily in front of the institution’s gate. Remember, dear reader, that this is an optical illusion used by the company in filming this movie and the candidates were aware of this, and “Uncle Bilal” weighed more than one hundred and sixty kilograms, and they were placed on the desk of each A puppet filter representing Uncle Bilal, so if you choose to throw the puppet, you see Uncle Bilal as you throw him in the movie from the top of the tower.

The decisive moment came, and here is the question: What did you choose, dear reader?

Another question: What do you expect if the rest were chosen?

Here’s the answer: The candidates chose not to sacrifice Uncle Bilal, but two.

The first: He threw himself off the table instead of the doll, indicating that he would not sacrifice the good uncle or the workers, but rather sacrificed himself. He saved all the workers and left them without a leader, which means their near end if the situation continues as it is.

The second: Uncle Bilal sacrificed himself, and when everyone looked at him and did not believe what he had done,

He replied: Isn’t it surprising? You did the same thing the first time without knowing details about the only factor and without seeing it, you were dealing with numbers and logic only, and you made the right decision.

But the second time, when you learned of the victim, feelings played with your decisions, so it was decided that everyone was sacrificed in order not to sacrifice Uncle Bilal al-Tayyib. What if I told you that the other five were: the first is your teammate, the second your father, the third your brother, the fourth your son, and the fifth your best friend?

And now I will not tell you, dear reader, what the audience did, I will leave your imagination free to guess which of them was best able to make the right decision? In other words, which of them is fittest for the position of leader?
